INSURANCE & PAYMENT

Straightforward Payment

The Respire Center is an out-of-network practice. Here’s exactly how payment and reimbursement work — no surprises.

OUR POLICY

Respire Center for ADHD & Behavioral Health is an out-of-network practice and we do not accept insurance. Clients may receive reimbursement from their insurance if they have out-of-network benefits. It is the client’s responsibility to contact their insurance provider directly to understand their benefits. Payment is due at the time the service is rendered, and clients receive a superbill for each visit that they can use to submit an out-of-network claim with insurance.

HOW REIMBURSEMENT WORKS

Four Simple Steps

For children, teens, and adults who are struggling or stuck, our unhurried, evidence-based psychiatric care empowers them to reclaim their path with compassion at every step.

1

Attend your visit

Payment is due at the time of service — we accept all major payment methods.

2

Receive your superbill

After each visit, you receive a detailed superbill with everything insurance needs.

3

Submit to insurance

Send the superbill to your insurance provider as an out-of-network claim.

4

Get reimbursed

If you have out-of-network benefits, your insurer reimburses you directly.

GOOD TO KNOW

Questions to Ask your Insurance Provider

When you contact your insurance provider, inquire about out-of-network benefits specific to behavioral health services. If you need specific service (CPT) codes, please contact us at info@respirecenter.com.

If you have out-of-network benefits, you may still need to reach a deductible before receiving reimbursement. Ask specifically about your deductible, and inquire about other benefits (such as FSA/HSA) that you can use for payment.

This is dependent on your plan, but ask insurance what you can expect in terms of reimbursement. Some providers will reimburse based on their allowable amount.

After each visit, The Respire Center will send a superbill with all information necessary for you to submit to your insurance. Typically, you open a claim online or through your insurance app and you can attach this superbill as reference.
